iPhone hacker penetrated security PS3

If during this hacking the PS3 should take advantage of USB, it seems that in the near future is no longer needed. Some time ago, a German hacker group named fail0verflow have found that is able to pass through security exploits the PS3 console. Group hackers managed to get the method used to calculate the security keys used by Sony to determine whether the application which runs legal or not. Today the famous iPhone hacker George Hotz (Geohot) has issued a PS3 Root Key to the public along with a statement of his gratitude to the team fail0verflow.

With the public key that opens, meaning making the application, firmware, and pirated games can be done which may soon see in the near future. Team fail0verflow himself said that this exploit will make the PS3 can run Linux.
