Between Intranets And Extranets

We all know what is the Internet, I hope I'm not mistaken. At least for those who do not know him in a simple Internet The Internet is a network of networks (network of networks).

Intranet is a computer network-based TCP / IP protocols such as internet only be used in internal corporate, office, and even internet cafes can be categorized Intranet. If a company / business / institution expose some of the internal network to the outside community, this is called extranet. It's usually not all intranet content in spend to the public to make the intranet into the extranet. For example we're buying software, books, etc. from an e-shop, so usually we can access the Intranet portion of the store. Business entity / company can block access to their intranet via a router and put a firewall. A firewall is a software / hardware that regulate one's access into the intranet. Protection is done through various network parameters whether it is an IP address, port number etc.. If the firewall is enabled, the access can be controlled so that we can only access a part of the company Intranet which became known as an extranet.
